RED Electricity Pty (Ltd) is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Varaidzo Pauline Chigumbu, CA (NAM, SA), as Chief Financial Officer, effective 01st March 2026, for the next five (5) years.
Ms. Chigumbu is a registered Chartered Accountant and brings over fifteen (15) years of senior financial leadership experience across the financial services industry and public sector. She has previously held senior finance roles at reputable companies such as the Environmental Investment Fund of Namibia, NamPost, and the Namibia Statistics Agency. Her expertise spans over in public finance management, audit, and governance.
She holds an Honours degree in Accounting from the University of South Africa, Bachelor of Commerce from Rhodes University, and a Chartered Accountant registered by the Institute of Chartered Accountants and the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants.
